Keith Minnis & Larry Curran

Keith Minnis Bio:
Mr. Minnis has been employed with Norman Regional Hospital for over six years - first three as the Manager of Behavioral Medicine Inpatient & Outpatient Services and the past three years as the Manager of Human Resources. Although this may appear a dramatic career shift, Mr. Minnis believes his behavioral experience prepared him very well for a Human Resources role, as he has been heard to say that "he has seen more psychopathology in the past three years in HR than the previous 17 years spent in Psychiatry."

Mr. Minnis began his career in healthcare over 20 years ago as a Child Care Workers & Counselor working with severely emotionally disturbed children & adolescents. Before joining Norman Regional Hospital, Mr. Minnis served in a Senior Leadership role with the top three Private Psychiatric for profit Hospital chains; Charter Behavioral Health Systems, Community Psychiatric Centers, and Century Healthcare.

Before assuming a Human Resources role, he served in the Behavioral & Mental Health profession working directly as a Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Employee Assistance Program Services Administrator & as an Administrator in the Private-for-Profit Psychiatric Hospital Inpatient & Outpatient Services.

Drawing from this wealth of experience with dysfunctional people, facilities, systems, and processes, Mr. Minnis serves as a speaker on the Norman Regional Hospital Speakers Bureau sharing his presentations on "Stress Management" & the new buzz "Work - Life - Balance!" and others.

Mr. Minnis completed an advanced Baccalaureate Social Work Degree with minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from East Central State University, and completed Graduate Studies in Management from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Minnis has been joyfully married for over 18 years and has three children ages 11, 8 & 2. An Okie, born & raised, Keith's return to Oklahoma six years ago [after spending 10 years in Texas and California] has sharpened his appreciation of all that Oklahoma Work & Life has to offer.
 

Larry Curran Bio:
Larry Curran is the Regional Vice President of HRLogix and has nearly 15 years in the human resources and technology fields. Prior to joining HRLogix, Curran served as Eastern US Regional Manager for the Human Capital Services division of MSX International, a global provider of technical business services. When Curran joined MSX, his region was experiencing 90 percent attrition and not producing a profit. In less than 18 months he built a new IT Augmentation Staffing business and his region was exceeding profit goals by 20 percent.

Curran devoted the first 12 years of his career to climbing the ranks at New Jersey-based Hobart West Group. While there he acquired and honed his expertise in recruiting and placement, staff management, employee training and development, and large account sales for this national commercial staffing company providing him with a keen insight into the business of human resources.

Curran earned his bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and enjoys outdoor sports, cooking and travel in his free time.
