Bio:
Beverly J. Glover is a Manager of Human Resources at YORK/Johnson Controls in Norman where she has been employed since May 1999 and is responsible for the diversity initiative of YORK’s Unitary Products Group. She recently returned from a two-year expatriate assignment in Amsterdam where she was the Manager of Global Training Delivery for YORK’s SAP implementation. Prior to joining YORK, Ms. Glover was a private consultant for five years specializing in the design and delivery of training programs in the areas of HR Management, media relations, and diversity. She served a diverse client base of public and private sector organizations, governmental agencies, and academic institutions nationwide. Her experience as a diversity practitioner began during her career with KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City from 1984-1993. While at the local ABC affiliate, she filled dual roles as Director of HR and news anchor/talk show host. She earned her B.S. degree in Management of Human Resources from Southern Nazarene University in 1993 and her SPHR certification in 2001. She is a national conference presenter and public speaker and a member of the National SHRM organization.
